Litchfield National Park is an amazing wilderness region in the Top End and is located 100km southwest of Darwin. If you’re in the area, then this is a must-visit location and don’t forget to take your camera with you.
Walk the rainforest tracks and encounter some of Australia’s native wildlife and flora. Other areas of the park are open landscapes, with dramatic mountains lining the horizon and numerous waterfalls, water holes, creeks and rivers to explore. The good news is that many of the main attractions can be accessed by either a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicle.
