This legendary day out as part of the HeliFish Pub Crawl Combo combines two of the Top Ends favourite pastime – fishing plus time at the pub with our mates!

Spend the morning (3 hours) Heli Fishing our half-day sites followed by an additional 3 hours split across 3 unique Top End pubs. Nirvana? We think so.

Our Half Day HeliFish showcases some spectacular Top End landscapes en route to fishing hot-spots located to the north east of Darwin (refer map below).

Habitats fished include isolated stretches of pristine coastline, rivers, creeks and the abundant estuaries of Cape Hotham, plus the billabongs, barrages and sprawling seasonal floodplains in permit-only areas of the Mary River and Djukbinj National Park regions.

Target species include barramundi, mangrove jack, salmon and more!

It’s hard to beat a great morning fishing followed by a few cold beers with your mates!

Chauffeured like rock-stars between 3 of the Top Ends most iconic pubs, enjoy stunning views along the coastline, beaches and estuaries, over creeks and seasonal wetlands with chance wildlife sightings along the way.

Meet the people, publicans, characters and critters that make each one unique!

  • Goat Island Lodge – meet King Kai, surrounded by a moat of saltwater crocodiles
  • Crab Claw Island Resort – beers on the beach!
  • The Noonamah Tavern – the last shout – and one for the road?

Please note: drinks and pub food are pay as you go.

Cash or card for food and drink purchases, camera, sun smart clothing including hat, sunglasses and sunscreen (SPF 50+ recommended)
